Grognon
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The new esplanade is a place of convergence and articulation between two very distinct environments. On one hand, the banks of the Meuse, and on the other hand the park of the Citadel. The landscape design of Grognon attempts to reconcile the two by visually extending the "straps" of wall and vegetation from the citadel to the water, integrating in its center a wide esplanade.
Of flexible and undulating form, the esplanade is delimited by the banks of the Meuse and a stepped vegetation.
