Eco-quartier la Croisée des Champs

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This new 16.5 ha eco-district is located at the entrance to Gembloux along the N4 and is bordered by a network of railroad tracks and by the new Gembloux train station. The project provides for the urban and landscaping development of a plot of land of approximately 4 ha.
In a quality landscaped environment, this site will accommodate 500 housing units with local services and shops. One of the important points of the project is to reduce traffic routes as much as possible in order to leave room for pedestrians, cyclists, landscaped areas and promenades. The goal is to offer future residents a car-free living environment that leaves as much room as possible for green areas.
