PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Designed to meet the challenges of tomorrow and offer a new way of living, the eco-neighborhood of the former Genappe sugar refinery site is part of a sustainable development approach. 

The architecture, enhanced by numerous landscaped areas, respects the village character of Genappe. The asphalt roads give way to a coulee verte of natural meadows, orchards, vegetable gardens, beehives and health trail that crosses the site before joining the RAVel.  A veritable backbone on which the collective facilities are concentrated, this coulée verte is also a favorite place for pedestrians and cyclists.

The choice of materials, alternative energy production, water management... all contribute to the creation of an environmentally friendly neighborhood in which it is deployed.
