PROJECT DESCRIPTION

In the urban fabric of Sotteville-lès-Rouen, the square project appears as a clearing in the city.

With a surface comparable to the Place de la République in Paris, the project does not go against this sudden break with urban forms, on the contrary, the project assumes this urban void, reinforces it, diversifies it, and declines it, with its magic contribution of light. The project seeks to reveal the constructed perimeter of the square as a marker of the space while simplification of the leveling optimizes the legibility of the place.
