Deûle Park
THE PROJECT IN SUMMARY
The current Parc de la Deûle covers an area of 700 hectares over the south of Lille. This area has been abandoned for years, this space has been rehabilitated with the prospect of enhancing a territory and protecting a threatened ecosystem.
A major project, the park today represents an exceptional green corridor in a highly urbanized region. Its recreational vocation combines harmoniously the developments made to protect fragile environments and the existing agricultural activities.
As a result, the work involving a multidisciplinary team, the new Parc de la Deûle has been awarded the National Landscape Prize in France and the Landscape Prize from the Council of Europe.
The rehabilitation of the park illustrates in an exemplary manner a landscape reflection that our office puts at the service of the development of a territory.
